Health Insurance Tax Credit
Beginning with the 2010 income tax return they file in 2011, eligible small businesses can claim a new tax credit for offering health insurance to their employees as part of the general business tax credit. Early Retiree Reinsurance Program
Businesses of all sizes are eligible to participate in the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program, which provides assistance to employers and sponsors of multi-employer plans to help offset the costs of claims for early retirees age 55 and older who are not eligible for Medicare.
